🔻The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) says a vessel was hit while transiting the Strait of Hormuz by an “unidentified projectile.”

The organization says that currently it has no information about the crew’s condition, the extent of damage caused to the vessel, or the possible environmental consequences of the attack.

UKMTO asked vessels to exercise caution when passing through the area and to report any suspicious activity. The organization said that authorities are investigating the attack.
