Shaker Bouri, an Instagram humorist, reported that he has been sentenced to 13 months and 20 days in prison following a complaint filed by Musa Ghadnfarabadi, a member of parliament.

In a video he posted, Bouri explained that with the charge of “spreading falsehoods,” he was sentenced just 48 hours after the hearing session.
