The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council condemned the Houthi “terrorist attacks” on civilians and facilities in Saudi Arabia and stated that these attacks “have a criminal and extremist approach and threaten security and stability in the region.”
Jassim Bedevi described the Houthis’ actions as “an open challenge to the international community and a direct threat to regional and international security and peace.”
Houthis in Yemen, who are supported by the Islamic Republic of Iran, are listed by the United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia, and a number of other countries among the roster of terrorist groups.
