Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Saudi Arabia’s foreign minister, said at a press conference in Moscow that Saudi Arabia will use all available tools to protect its interests and will not hesitate to support actions that secure Yemen and the region’s interests.

Regarding tensions with the Houthis, Faisal bin Farhan said: “The Houthis have put themselves on a path that they cannot withstand the consequences of.”

The Saudi foreign minister accused the Houthis of preferring their own interests over those of the people of Yemen, and said that whenever the group finds itself in a difficult situation, it resorts to violence.

At the same time, Faisal bin Farhan said that the path of diplomacy to deal with the Houthis remains open.
