Rouhollah Motahhar-Azad, a member of the parliament’s presidium, told ISNA News Agency: “The enemy does not think about peace and is the killer of our father. If there is no readiness against the enemy and a signal of weakness is sent, the enemy will respond with cognitive warfare to weaken internal resolve and increase the impact of its attacks.”

Motahhar-Azad said: “We should not keep ourselves in a closed guard, but a dignified end is possible only through readiness for war.”

He said: “We either have to fight or be ready for war. Those who emphasize standing firm and avenging our blood are following a path closer to the country’s staying power and stability than those who are looking to beg.”
