👑Reza Pahlavi’s warning about the risk of the imminent execution of 12 political prisoners and those detained in the National Revolution of Lion and Sun in Isfahan

Erfan Esfandiari, 18, and Gol Mohammad Mohammadi, 23 (Afghan citizen), were executed today. They were among the convicted in the Alī Qānān Square case in Isfahan and among those detained in the National Revolution of Dey 2585 (1404).

In the past few days, reports had also been published about the transfer of the convicted from this case to solitary confinement cells and the increasing concerns about the imminent implementation of the death sentences.

These reports indicate that the criminal Islamic Republic regime is once again on the verge of committing a horrific crime against Iranian citizens.

Based on information released, Alireza Sepahi Abolfazl Sepahi, Ghaem Hassini, Shervin Bagrian, Amirhossein Safri, Amir Hossein Maleki, Ali Dashti, Abu al-Fazl Abrahimi, Alireza Ra’iisi, and Amir Hossein Abrahimi—Analocha—among those detained in the National Revolution of Lion and Sun in Isfahan—are in serious danger of state-sanctioned murder.

We call on international human rights institutions and officials of the world’s democratic countries to immediately act, making use of all their legal, political, and diplomatic capacities, to prevent the implementation of these unjust and medieval rulings, and to hold the Islamic Republic accountable for the consequences of such a crime.

We also ask all Iranian fellow citizens, human-rights activists, political and civil figures, and all awakened consciences around the world to try to save the lives of these brave children of Iran by bringing the voice of these political prisoners to public opinion.

We warn that the execution of these unlawful and unjust rulings is an explicit violation of the most fundamental principles of human rights. The instigators and perpetrators of these state-run killings in Iran will be held accountable tomorrow before a fair court based on the rule of law.

Using the death penalty as a tool to create fear and terror and silence the voice of freedom-seeking Iranians is not a sign of the power of this tyrannical regime; rather, it is proof of the regime’s fear and helplessness, which has completely lost its legitimacy before the Iranian nation.

The order of this tyrannical regime and its remnants will soon be dismantled by the will of the great Iranian people, and Free Iran’s future will be built upon the rule of law and human dignity.
