🔺Netanyahu called Qatar a “hostile country” and defended the bombing of Doha

▪The Israeli prime minister called Qatar a “hostile country” and said that this country does not dictate Israel’s policy in the Gaza war.

▪Benjamin Netanyahu, in remarks to i24NEWS, parts of which he shared on social media, said: “I attacked Qatar, I bombarded it, and during the war I attacked them and they attacked me.”

▪Netanyahu’s remarks come just a few days before the first anniversary of Israel’s airstrike on Doha.

▪On September 9, 1404, Israel targeted a meeting in Doha that was being held to review a Gaza ceasefire proposal with U.S. support. Based on a report by Al Jazeera, the attack killed five members of Hamas and a Qatari security officer.
