🔶 Mehsa Amini’s father: The secret of Mehsa’s sealed fate and the loved ones laid to rest in the earth will remain hidden forever

Amjad Amini, the father of Jina Mehsa Amini, on the eve of the fourth anniversary of his daughter’s death, wrote in a text he posted in an Instagram story: “Four years have passed, but your grief neither grows old nor even rests for a moment.”

In this heartfelt piece, which he published on Monday, 23 Shahrivar, Amjad Amini addressed his daughter: “In an era in which every day has become more bitter and hopes have faded, above all our hearts are bound to the wishes of young people like you. If you were among us today, what would you do? Would we still see that same zest for life in your eyes? Would we still be talking about tomorrow and dreaming about the days ahead?”

He described his daughter’s death as “a wound in the heart” of the family that “no words can express,” and then, referring to the name of Jina Mehsa Amini echoing in Iran and around the world, wrote: “But fate brought about such a turn that your name went beyond our small home.”
