Local officials in southern Iran say that after a drone attack on two fishing boats of this country, some of their crew members have gone missing and a search operation is underway for them in the coastal waters of Hormozgan.

Monday evening — 23 Shahrivar — the political deputy of Hormozgan Province said that these maritime incidents occurred “near Kargan Port in the waters of the Persian Gulf.”

More details have not yet been reported.

Last Thursday, too, Reza Shahidian, the governor of Sirik, told IRNA that a fisherman who was fishing in Iran’s waters was targeted by a “enemy,” his boat sank, and he was injured.
