🔶 Kuwait Army: We intercepted Iran’s missile and drone attacks

Kuwait on Thursday morning, 12 Shahrivar (3 September), reported a fresh missile and drone attack by Iran on its territory. The Kuwaiti army said that air defense systems are currently countering the attacks, and that sounds of possible explosions are a result of interception operations.

The Kuwaiti Armed Forces Joint Operations Command called on citizens and residents to follow the safety and protective instructions of the relevant officials.

Iranian state television also confirmed an attack on U.S. bases in Kuwait and announced that these attacks were carried out in response to U.S. military operations against Iran.

A day earlier, an Iranian drone attack caused a fire in a residential complex in one of the areas of Kuwait City. Kuwaiti officials said that the fire had been contained and that no one was injured in the incident.
