Israeli attacks on southern and eastern Lebanon left at least three dead and 23 injured on Friday evening.

According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, the attacks targeted five locations in the provinces of South and Nabatiyeh, in the south, and the Bekaa region in the east. The ministry did not differentiate between fighters and civilians.

The Israeli army said the attacks were carried out in response to the launch of an explosive drone by Hezbollah toward its forces in its self-styled “security zone” in southern Lebanon.
