Yesterday (Sunday), the Israeli army carried out an attack in the Gaza City area and eliminated Yusuf Aqila, a terrorist and commander of an elite unit in Hamas’s military wing.

In recent weeks, this terrorist carried out leading attacks against Israeli army forces and Israeli civilians and worked to rebuild the capabilities of the terrorist organization, in violation of the systematic ceasefire. The terrorist was eliminated in order to neutralize the threat he created.

Prior to this attack, measures were taken to reduce harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance.
