IRGC says its navy attacked a US unmanned surface vessel that was trying to violate the “Hormuz Strait prohibited area”

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said its naval force attacked an American unmanned surface vessel that was attempting to violate the “prohibited area of the Strait of Hormuz.”

In an IRGC statement, it said: “This strategic waterway is under the control of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and any action by the child-killing enemy will be met with a decisive response.”

U.S. Central Command has not confirmed the claim.
