🔻 Iran’s army says it targeted several bases and military facilities of this country in Bahrain and Jordan with drones in response to the latest U.S. attacks.
In a statement, the army said that “this morning, fuel tanks, large equipment warehouses and silos, as well as the location of U.S. army forces at the Eisa air base in Bahrain, were targeted with suicide drones.”
A reporter for Agence France-Presse in Bahrain also reported hearing the sound of an explosion and alarm sirens sounding on Friday morning.
Iran’s army also claimed that it attacked the Al Azraq base in Jordan with a drone and targeted “aircraft hangars, aircraft maintenance and repair hangars, and a barracks.”
However, in the past hours, Jordan has not reported any attack.
Tehran stresses that any base or military facilities in the Middle East that U.S. forces use to carry out attacks against Iran are considered a legitimate target for retaliatory action by the Islamic Republic.
