“Jamsheed Azizi,” a former political prisoner and one of the fellow inmates of “Karim Khoshteh,” a prisoner sentenced to imprisonment in Lakan, Rasht, reported in a post on his X account that the death sentence for this prisoner has been reduced to 12 years and six months of imprisonment.

According to this report, the Supreme Court, after overturning the death sentence of Karim Khoshteh, sent the case for further review to Branch One of the Rasht Revolutionary Court.
