🔻Decrease in the number of ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz on Saturday and Sunday

Reuters has reported that, based on preliminary tracking data of ships, the number of vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz during the weekend holidays has decreased.

According to the report, the number of ships has remained far below the average for the past 10 days.

Citing initial figures, Reuters said that a total of 14 vessels transited through this waterway, of which 4 ships exited the Persian Gulf and 10 ships entered it.

It is worth noting that these data are still preliminary and subject to change, because some vessels pass through the route with their transmitters turned off, and as a result are not included in official counts.
