🔶 “Presence of 8 heads of state” at the funeral procession for the body of Ali Khamenei in Tehran On Friday, Tir 12 (July 3), Ismail Baqaei, spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that delegations from nearly 100 countries would be present at the “funeral procession for the body of Ali Khamenei, the former leader of the Islamic Republic.” Baqaei, in a phone interview with IRIB News Network, said that among the foreign guests, “at least 8 heads of state” will be present, including the president or prime minister, as well as “12 heads of parliament.” According to reports, at the funeral procession for Ali Khamenei’s body, representatives of the Taliban group, including Amir Khan Muttaqi, the foreign minister, and from Afghanistan’s opposition groups, Mohammad Mohaqqeq, the leader of the People’s Unity Party of Afghanistan, and Ahmad Massoud, the leader of the “National Resistance Front of Afghanistan,” are present separately.
