Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the President of Turkey, said that efforts to achieve peace in the Middle East will not be sustainable without support from regional countries, and that Israel should not be allowed to derail the U.S.-Islamic Republic agreement. Speaking on Saturday in Istanbul, alongside Shehbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Erdoğan said that no solution that relies on the will and participation of regional countries will be lasting. He also accused the Israeli government of trying to undermine the U.S.-Islamic Republic agreement.
