🔶 Ukraine targeted ships linked to the transfer of military cargo from Iran to Russia

After Zelensky’s remarks, the Security Service of Ukraine, SBU, released more details about the attacks in the Caspian Sea.

The agency said the targets of the strikes included the Filanovsky oil platform, a Russian Molenya-class missile boat, and two general cargo ships named “Port Olya 2” and “Begi.”

According to the Security Service of Ukraine, the two ships “Port Olya 2” and “Begi” are subject to international sanctions.

Kyiv says these vessels played a role in transporting military cargo and munitions between Iran and Russia; a route that in recent months has been one of the main causes of concern for Ukraine and its Western allies.
