The United Nations is concerned about the expansion of the conflict in Ukraine following Vladimir Zelensky’s threats against civilian aviation in Russian airspace, UN Secretary-General’s spokesman Stephane Dujarric said.

“We’re concerned about the expansion of this conflict, and it is important that in this conflict, as in any other, all precautions must be taken not to do harm to civilians or civilian infrastructure,” he said.
