“For nearly five decades, the Islamic Republic has tried to impose two lies on the people of Iran and the world: that there is no way other than continuing the current situation, and that any alternative would drive Iran into chaos and collapse.”
Tina Ghazi-Morad, head of communications and media for Prince Reza Pahlavi, says in her speech at the conference “Free Iran and the European Union” in Düsseldorf that attending this conference is a clear response to both lies: the Iranian national movement for an end to this darkness has a plan, is prepared for the transition period, and offers a clear vision for building a free, prosperous, and responsible Iran in the global community.
She emphasizes that today’s struggle is not a competition among several political currents or disagreements over how to run the country; it is an existential battle to save Iran. The Islamic Republic is not merely an incompetent state, but a transnational, criminal, and terrorist sect that has taken Iran hostage, used the people as a shield for its adventures, and put national wealth at the service of repression, terrorism, and proxy wars.”
