〰❌〰 President Trump, in a message posted on the social network Truth Social, said he had a phone call “very good” with Andy Burnham, the new prime minister of Britain, and announced that the two sides discussed “clearing the Strait of Hormuz of mines.”

Referring to the call, the U.S. president wrote: “We discussed a number of topics, including North Sea oil, trade, the military alliance, clearing the Strait of Hormuz of mines, and many other issues.”

Stressing the outstanding relations between the two countries, Trump added: “The prime minister has a great job ahead of him, but he will be able to handle it, and of course America will be there to help.” Trump also said that the two sides will meet soon to discuss issues of mutual interest.
