🔶 “Persian Gulf Waterway Management”: 77 vessels were placed in the “offenders list”
The “Persian Gulf Waterway Management” organization on Monday, 23 Shahrivar, published an updated list of 77 “noncompliant” vessels that, according to this organization, have “violated Iran’s protocols for passage through the Strait of Hormuz.”
The Persian Gulf Waterway Management announced that the ships listed in this roster will face restrictions in the future for their transit, including fines, detention, or seizure. The organization also warned that ships that cooperate with these vessels may be added to the “offenders” list.
In a message posted on the X platform, Persian Gulf Waterway Management warned: “Insurers, P&I clubs, and classification societies are warned, so as to avoid being immune from the consequences arising from dealings with these vessels, that they should refrain from providing services to them.”
After the intensification of the Strait of Hormuz crisis in April (Ordibehesht) this year, the Islamic Republic launched this organization.
