NourNews, citing local sources: An Iranian oil tanker has been hit by a missile attack

NourNews, a media outlet close to the Iranian government, reported that local sources have said an Iranian oil tanker near Kharg has been targeted in a missile attack by U.S. forces, but these reports have not yet been confirmed.

The Fars reporter on Kharg Island said that the sound of explosions was heard from the direction of the Persian Gulf, but no signs of smoke were seen.

So far, Iranian officials have not issued any statement about these reports.

The Student News Agency (ISNA), citing local sources as well, says that an Iranian oil tanker on Kharg Island has been hit by missiles fired by U.S. forces.

Iranian news websites, including Asr Iran, also reported that the process of unloading this oil tanker has now begun.
