🔺Member of Parliament: Changing the price of gasoline is “incendiary”; fuel stations faced a technical problem
▪After the increase in the price of unleaded gasoline from 5,000 tomans to 10,000 tomans, the head of the Interior Affairs Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly said that changing the gasoline price without the Parliament’s approval is “incendiary.”
▪The subsidized quotas have not changed. Owners of private vehicles continue to receive 60 liters per month at a rate of 1,500 tomans and 50 liters at a rate of 3,000 tomans. The new rate is applied when consumption exceeds the total of the quotas, or when the driver does not have a personal card with them.
▪At the same time, the implementation of the plan encountered a technical problem and caused issues at fuel stations. According to media reports, the fuel station displays are four-digit and the “10,000 tomans” figure does not fit on them.
