🔻Kamalvandi’s speech at the General Conference of the IAEA

Behrouz Kamalvandi, the spokesperson of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization, delivered a speech at the annual conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna.

Mohammad Eslami, head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization, was supposed to speak at this meeting, but Austria did not allow him entry on Saturday.

Chris Wright, U.S. energy minister, confirmed the news yesterday, saying: “He is a sanctioned person, and we don’t want anyone to evade sanctions. He requested a waiver, which was denied.”

Iran said Austria did not allow Mr. Eslami to enter under “U.S. pressure,” and said that the country does not have the competence to host international organizations.

The annual General Conference of the Agency began yesterday at the headquarters of the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna.
