🔺Israel’s ambassador in the U.S.: the blockade works, and the Iranian government will collapse

▪In an interview with Fox News, Israel’s ambassador in the U.S. said that the U.S. maritime blockade and economic sanctions against the Islamic Republic “work” and that what is needed is only patience.

▪Yehiel Leiter said: “We should give President Trump time and space so that he can complete this process. This Iranian government, this wicked regime of the mullahs, will fall if we keep our focus on the blockade and economic sanctions.”

▪He said: “Eighty percent of Iranians want this regime to fall. We are aligned with the will of the Iranian people.”

▪Leiter had previously, in an interview, compared Iran’s situation to the Soviet Union’s in the 1980s and said that Iran had been defeated and that it was “only a little time away from its actual collapse.”
