Tim Hawkins, spokesperson for U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), told Axios about reports of the killing of five people and the wounding of 68 in a wedding ceremony in southern Iran: “We are aware of these reports, which are sourced from Iranian state media.”

This U.S. military official said: “The U.S. army, unlike the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, has never targeted civilians.”
