🔻Fitch Credit Rating Agency: Qatar’s natural gas exports via the Strait of Hormuz are still disrupted
Fitch Ratings says that the risk to Qatar’s liquefied natural gas facilities has decreased compared to the beginning of the war, but its exports from the Strait of Hormuz remain disrupted.
The agency kept Qatar’s credit outlook negative and cited the risk and disruption to natural gas exports via the Strait of Hormuz as the reason.
Qatar is one of the world’s largest exporters of liquefied natural gas.
Reuters reports that since the start of the war in late February (the 9th of Esfand), Qatar has lost about $24 billion in gas sales revenue.
