Fatemeh Moghajerani, the government spokesperson, announced at her Tuesday, 24 Shahrivar press conference that the government hopes there will be no need to change the first- and second-tier gasoline quotas.
The government spokesperson said in this press conference: “The reform of the third gasoline price was supposed to be carried out in winter, but due to wartime conditions it was postponed.”
The second gasoline quota during the war decreased from 100 to 70 liters, and after the war from 70 to 50 liters.
Moghajerani also added: “If the government wants to make changes to the quotas or prices, it will definitely speak with the people before doing so.”
She said that due to wartime conditions and in order to “preserve confidentiality,” it is not appropriate at the moment to provide information about Iran’s oil revenues.
