Donald Trump, the President of the United States, said in remarks at the White House: “What we have done is incredible. We took control of Venezuela, and we have also taken control of Iran, and for a few days now there has been no shooting.

Trump added: “Iran’s radar activity has stopped. They had radar. We had destroyed it once, and now we have destroyed it a second time.”

He said, regarding the Strait of Hormuz, that many ships are passing through this strait and a great deal of oil is being taken out of it. Trump added that no sea mines remain in the strait, because American forces destroyed Iran’s mines with mine-clearing equipment.

The U.S. president said: “We are doing something big. We have prevented Iran from having nuclear weapons.”
