Reports received by Iran International indicate a noticeable increase in citizens’ demand from different social classes for collecting produce waste, blemished fruits, and even half-moldy items.

Some fruit sellers told Iran International that seeing people collecting vegetables and produce from the trash bins and waste containers of shops has become a daily scene.
