Benjamin Netanyahu, prime minister of Israel, on Wednesday, 18 Shahrivar, during a visit to Mount Hermon in Syria, said: “Our main task is to defeat the Iranian terrorist regime. We are very close to it; we are committed to it and we will do it.”

Netanyahu, who visited the area along with Israel Katz, Israel’s defense minister, and Tomer Yedai, deputy chief of staff of the army, said that Israel will not allow any “terrorist army” to be deployed on the borders of this country.

He also said: “We control the entire region from Mount Hermon to Yarmouk and from there to the Mediterranean.”

During this visit, Netanyahu was briefed on the military activities of the Israeli army in the area.
