America’s pressure on the Islamic Republic has, this time, been brought to Iran’s aviation industry. Almost all of the remaining Iranian airlines have been targeted by sanctions, and at the same time, part of the exemptions that had made air connections between Iran and the outside possible has been revoked.
But to what extent can this decision help the regime’s air isolation, and what will the cost of it be for the people?
