🔶 Gharibabadi in Doha held talks with Qatari officials on implementing the ceasefire agreement Kazem Gharibabadi, legal and international affairs deputy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who has traveled to Qatar leading a delegation consisting of representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Central Bank, and the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad, met and held talks this morning with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar. In the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on a set of issues of mutual interest, including the process of implementing the recent ceasefire memorandum and the challenges and obstacles along the way to implementing it. Present at the meeting were Ali Saleh-Abadi, Iran’s ambassador in Doha, and Hamid Kanbari, deputy for economic diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Solutions to speed up the implementation of the provisions of the memorandum, especially in relation to Lebanon, were discussed. Gharibabadi said that workgroups to follow up on the implementation of the memorandum and to negotiate for a final agreement have been formed to begin negotiations for the final accord, but negotiations within these frameworks have not yet started.
