🔺Zelensky after meeting Trump: We are ready for an energy ceasefire

▪Ukraine’s president said, after meeting with the U.S. president in New York, that Kyiv is ready for any form of an energy ceasefire, but that the agreement will work only if Russia also adheres to it.

▪Volodymyr Zelensky, on Tuesday, after a meeting with Donald Trump on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, told reporters: “We don’t want to get into details; we are ready for an energy ceasefire. We are very grateful to the American side. They will share this with the Russians. I don’t know Russia’s position.”

▪The Ukrainian president wrote on social media that the meeting was “positive and constructive,” and that the United States and Ukraine want “this meaningless Russian war to end before winter.”
