🗣 Your story from the start of the school year under security pressures — Wednesday, October 1:

🔹 In Tehran’s Region 18: fifth-grade primary school students gathered “Dubale Subale” (paper money) to collect the cost of textbooks in the month of Ordibehesht. Now, on the first of Mehr, they haven’t been given the books. When we asked, they said they haven’t been printed yet. It isn’t clear when they will be printed. So how do the Minister of Education and Training say that we have full readiness?

🔹 From Kish Island: today they said the children should come to school for class placements. Unfortunately, the classes are without teachers, the school principal isn’t answering, and says that no teachers have been allocated to the school. The children are left in limbo.

🔹 From Mazandaran: my son went to school today. The principal had told him that if, on the day of reopening of the school, you don’t bring the flag of the Islamic Republic with you to school, it will negatively affect your final-year grades.

🔹 On the first of Mehr, we took the kids to a school in Garmdar, and a lot of flag-bearing vans and cars with large loudspeakers entered the school loudly reciting lamentations. Security forces also entered the school.

🔹 From Isfahan: on the first day of school, instead of providing at least a few hours of a cheerful, stress-free environment for the kids now that they’re away from home, they said: tomorrow come give gifts to the needy children in Minab. They want to make elementary school kids bleed in the heart for the first Mehr celebration.

🔹 I am a high school student at Alavi School in Khorramabad. Today, students from Taalghani School were transferred to our school. The overcrowding is so high that 50 people or more are present in each class. Some people say the transfer was because security forces were stationed in their own school.
