🔺Yemeni minister: The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is designing tolls for the Bab al-Mandab

▪ Yemen’s government information minister said the international community should not be deceived by the temporary reduction in tensions, and the Islamic Republic uses its regional proxy forces as a tool for pressure and extortion.

▪ Maammar al-Iryani added that the government is trying to repeat the Strait of Hormuz model in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab through the Houthis.

▪ Reuters reported on Wednesday that the Houthis are reviewing the imposition of tolls on traffic through Bab al-Mandab.

▪ Two regional officials told Reuters that Houthi officials traveled to Iran in July to attend ceremonies for the funeral of Ali Khamenei, and their Iranian counterparts discussed with them the issue of setting tolls for passage through Bab al-Mandab.
