🔻 Yemen’s government says it has attacked Houthi positions in several places

The Yemeni government, recognized by the international community, said it carried out artillery attacks against the Houthis in the northern province of Al-Jawf.

Yemeni government forces, backed by Saudi Arabia, said in a post on the social media platform X that they targeted “gatherings and hideouts” of the Houthis throughout the Al-Jawf province.

Earlier, Yemeni forces had also reported carrying out several drone attacks against Houthi fighters in the province of Marib. These forces also said that during Saturday and Sunday, they carried out 181 operations against Houthi positions in several provinces, killing and injuring dozens of members of the group.

The United Nations has warned that Yemen faces the highest risk of returning to full-scale war since the ceasefire was established in 2022.
