Western attempts to undermine relations between Russia and Kazakhstan are doomed to failure, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin told TASS on the sidelines of the 3rd Kazakhstan-Russia Media Forum.

“From the very beginning, I have characterized our relations with Kazakhstan - including during my speech at the forum - as a comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance. These relations are very strong and are steadily developing on the basis of agreements reached by our leaders, Vladimir Putin and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev,” the senior diplomat noted.

According to him, “the relations between the countries are solid, and attempts by Westerners to undermine them, either directly or indirectly, are doomed to fail, which, in fact, is exactly what is happening.”
