The Emtedad website reported that Iran’s Supreme Court overturned the death sentence of Arghvan Fallahi, a 24-year-old citizen held in Evin Prison. She had previously been sentenced to death for “armed rebellion” by Branch 15 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court.

According to this report, the sixth prisoner—on 6 Bahman 1403, one week after the killing of Razini and Maqise—was arrested and was sentenced to death by the Islamic Revolutionary Court.

Based on this report, Arghvan Fallahi was sentenced to death for armed rebellion (armed uprising) under conditions in which, according to her lawyer, no weapons were found on her.

Previously, Fallahi’s request for a retrial had also been rejected by the Supreme Court.
