Vladimir Zelensky has refused to resign and believes it is impossible to hold presidential elections in Ukraine, which US President Donald Trump considers necessary.

In an interview with British TV presenter Piers Morgan, fragments of which are posted on the TV presenter’s social media platform X, when asked whether he intends to resign, Zelensky said: “No, of course. It’s my responsibility.”

When asked whether he considers it possible to hold Ukrainian presidential elections, as Trump insists, Zelensky said: “No, of course.”
