🔻 Veteran Iranian cinema sound engineer and editor Mohammad Heqiqi has died.
According to House of Cinema, Mr. Heqiqi began working in cinema in 1361 (1982/83) with the dubbing of the film “Cheshm-e Tang-e Donyadar” (Tight-Eyed World-Knowing) directed by Nourdīn Zarrīn-Kalak.
Among his important works is the sound recording of the film “Lily with Me Is,” a 1374 (1995/96) production directed by Kamal Tabrizi, which at the time was welcomed by audiences.
Mohammad Heqiqi also has in his artistic record the sound recording and editing of films including “Delshkasteh” (Broken-Hearted), “Kish” and “Maat,” “Avazkhan” (Singer), “Safar be Chazabe” (Journey to Chazabe), “Kargah-2” (Detective 2), and “Khaneye Koochek-e Ma” (Our Small House).
In 1374 (1995/96), Mr. Heqiqi managed to win the Crystal Simorgh for sound recording of the film “Safar be Chazabe,” directed by Rasul Molagholi-Pour, at the 14th Fajr Film Festival. 📷khanehcinema
