🔶 Vance: Negotiations with Iran will be "complex and time-consuming"

JD Vance, the U.S. vice president, announced on Wednesday, August 5 (14 Mordad), that the negotiation process to reach a deal with Iran would be “complex and chaotic” and would take time. He said, in describing the political structure of Iran as difficult, “Iranians are people with extraordinary difficulty, and they have a fragmented country structure.”

Vance, who had appeared in an interview with Fox News, added: “Our job is to go through this process and also to get the best outcome for both the people of America and for the president of the United States. And I believe that at some point that we will ultimately reach—although the path to it will be chaotic and time-consuming. As you saw, the price of oil today was about $79.” He claimed that “these oil prices will fall and remain low; Iran will never obtain a nuclear weapon, and the United States will be in a stronger position.”

Vance went on to say: “But we are only in the middle of this game, and I think people are doing an initial assessment of exactly how this story will progress.”
