US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced it has changed the route of 55 commercial vessels until August 9 [18 Mordad], disabled two ships, and boarded two vessels to ensure compliance with restrictions.

CENTCOM added that the USS Ross destroyer is one of more than 20 US warships deployed in the Middle East that support military missions, including the strict enforcement of the Iranian embargo.
