According to reports, following prior warnings by the Iranian Meteorological Organization, a powerful weather system entered Khuzestan Province from Saturday, 11 Mehr 1405, with severe atmospheric instability. In addition to heavy downpours of rain and hail falling in unusually large sizes, the activity of this weather mass has led to flooding and waterlogging of streets in some areas of the province. No official report has yet been released regarding the extent of the possible damages from this storm and its resulting floods.

Large hailstones can cause serious injuries to people. Meteorological organizations have emphasized that when hail occurs, people should take shelter inside a building or a vehicle.
