“United Students” reported that the disciplinary committee of Beheshti University, in a ruling, dismissed Ali Reza Jafarzadeh, a graduate student of international political economy, on the charge of “causing unrest and commotion in the university environment,” and that the ruling was also upheld by the appeals council.

According to this report, Jafarzadeh had previously, in 1401 and during the Women, Life, Freedom movement, been sentenced to one year of discretionary imprisonment and two years of a ban on activity in cyberspace for what was described as “insulting the Leader.”
