🔻The United Nations has warned that Israel’s ongoing attacks in Gaza «continue to put Palestinians at risk and increase their needs for humanitarian aid».

In its latest update, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs said that Israeli gunfire, shelling, and naval attacks from Friday have resulted in the deaths of several civilians, and emphasized that «under international humanitarian law, civilians and civilian infrastructure must always be protected.»

The agency said that its colleagues who are not operating to counter the threat of explosive materials are working in Gaza and have marked more than 1,000 munitions in the Gaza Strip since the start of the war.

The report highlighted the importance of allowing the entry of essential supplies and specialized equipment into Gaza to expand «vital services».
