The United Nations Security Council, in a joint statement, condemned the attacks by Houthi rebels on Saudi Arabia, including attacks on the Riyadh International Airport, “in the strongest possible terms.”
Members of the Security Council also condemned the attacks and threats by the Houthi rebels against commercial vessels in the Red Sea and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.
According to the statement, since the beginning of this month, Riyadh International Airport has been targeted 20 times. In an attack carried out last weekend, 13 people were killed and more than 300 others were injured.
