The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations Organization said a ship, while exiting the Strait of Hormuz, was targeted by an “unknown projectile,” and one of its crew members has been killed.

According to the report from the organization, the projectile hit the ship’s engine room, causing damage. Oman’s coast guard is also providing assistance to the other crew members of this vessel.
